Another ominous devel- opment, says Basiable, is the proposed implementation in January, 1990 of the Greater Toronto Commercial Con- centration Tax. Under this tax, a charge of $1 a sq. ft. will be levied against all commercial building which have a gross area of more than 200,000 sq. ft.
