Courses are on Saturday, Oct. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 26 from 9 a.m, to 4 p.m. Master quilting in- structor Faye Tevendale will teach how to make any size down quilt and will also discuss making quilt covers. Those interested are urged to register early as materials for quilts are pre-cut. Participants should br- ing lunch, scissors, a large spool of white cotton thread, pins, pencil, measuring tape, a plastic garbage bag and, if possible, their own sewing machine. Cost of materials is $100 to $180 depending on the cost of feather- down and the size of quilt.
