The winning plays of all the zones in B.C. are competing tn Pen- ticton this week — May 14-19. First Impressions Theatre submitted a new play ‘“‘Outside-Inside Out’? by young North Vancouver playwright, John McGie, with original music compos- ed by another North Van resident, lan Schildt. Whereas John ts fairly new to the theatre scene, lan’s hame is becoming very famihar to the North Shore. He has written original music for all of First Impressions’ shows, First Impressions, Puss In Boots, The Hot L Baltimore and Outside-Inside Out. He also wrote the music for Community Artists’ Skool (which will be re- mounted this fall) and Capilano College's An Enter- tainment at the Cafe Ter- minus and The Crucible.
