QUESTION: This letter does
aot end up with a question.
It’s a protest letter. P’'m sick
and tired of commercials on
radio and TV that sound ter-
cibly important and don’t say
a darn thing that is worth
saying, or that even sounds
true if you stop to think
about it.

The latest one that bugs me
is about some medicine or
other and the Voice, with a
capital V, says, with all sorts
of authority and sincerity and
fervor that more doctors give

what does THAT mean?
Does it mean.more doctors

than last year? Does‘it mean
‘more doctors than plumbers?

Does it mean that a majority

_of all the planet's doctors

give it to their kids? Does it
mean that some doctors give
it to their own kids, but give
the second running medicine
to other kids? -

It does not mean anything
except there’s a guy on TV
that’s getting paid toe plug a
product that some ad writer
has been paid to write about

Dar it all I don’t like
anyone trying to suck me in
with a tricky, tacky spiel that
would insult the intelligence
of a grade-school moron. I
think we should raise more of
a protest of one sort or
another about these insulting

commercials. As part of the:
