And there is mounting evidence of a ‘casual relationship” between tele- vised violence and aggression, says the report. “Television and Behavior.” The study from. the Department of Health and Human Services, conducted by the National Institute of Mental Health, also says children often overrule their parents when deciding what television shows to watch.
