After her studies she returaed to Vancouver and taught painting and drawing at her alma mater from 1933 to 1937. During this time, she painted extensively around the province, particularly the shorelines of Burrard Inlet. Her longtime friend Alistair Bell wrote the cata- logue text for the show. That same year she moved ta Sidney on Vancouver Island. There of her paintings were included in the Vancouver Art Gailery’s exhi- bition, Vancouver: Art and Artists 1931-1983. Her work is represented in the collec- tions of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, the British Columbia Arts Collection and the Vancouver Art Gallery. Upon her death in 1994, she donated her beautifull waterfronc property in Sidney for a park.
