EAGLE HARBOUR Centre is of-

fering a number of art excursions -

throughout the summer.

The Parks Sketch and Paint.

Series takes place Wednesdays, Ju-
ly 26, August 2 and $ from 9 a.m
to 4 p.m. In this series, partici-
pants will travel to one of West
Vancouver’s parks for sketch and
paint outings.

The emphasis will be placed on
Preparatory sketches in pencil, ink

and watercolor. The cost of these.

outings is $18 each.

On August 15, Gibsons Landing |

with Velvet Mackenzie-Bailes is
taking place from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
. Participants will travel as a

group to Gibson’s Landing, where

they will stroll around and sketch
this cl i community. Also
included in the fee of $25 is lunch
at-a local restaurant and viewing
focal art galleries.

The Gallery Crawl takes place
Saturday, August 12 from 9 a.m.
to 4 p.m. and costs $18. Partici-
pants will join the centre’s art in-
structor, Velvet Mackenzic-Bailes, |
in a day of art appreciation touring
a selection of Vancouver’s galleries
including the Vancouver Art
Gallery.
