Carolyn Posen, president of Carolyn Sales, is a pharmacist by profession having worked for Tamblyn and Boots Drug stores for eight years as a buyer and then as merchandise manager. As merchandise manager, she was responsible for all buying across Canada for the phar- maceutical and beauty/fashion divisions. Posen is a past member of the Board of Directors of Boots and an executive director of the Ontario Pharmacists Association. Some of the other products handled by Carolyn Sales include: Mona professiona! nail care line, children’s licensed bath toiletries including Care Bears, Princess of Power, Barbie, Masters of the Universe, Transformers, G.I. Joe and Mad Ball, DuCair products and Jordache. Carolyn Sales acquired the Guess watch line in 1985 and cur- rently distributes Guess sungiasses, as well. The company plans to handle additional Guess accessory lines in the future. The Guess watch movements are manufactured in Switzerland, with the rest of the watch manufactured and assembled in Hong Kong.
