spent the weekend at the Vic-
toria Regent — 1234 Wharf
St. V8W 3H9. They had a
two bedroom, two bathroom
suite, with a_ kitchenette,
fireplace and even a jaccuzi.

It overlooks the Inner Har-
bor and, as they had
marvellous weather, they
walked all over the place. He
quoted an exceptionally low
price — $50 per couple for
the weekend. | checked with
the B.C. accommodation
guide and found the rates
almost double that; however
I suspect that he got either a
weekend special or an off-
season rate — maybe even
