What baffled detectives though as the hours ticked by after the report of the incident was that they still had no report of a kid- napping victim. Follow-up information from the department of human resources confirmed that the initial report was true that a girl had been put into the back of a car and driven off. But police report it turns out it was done by her father, “who has a lot of stress problems.” She had been supposed to meet him and when she turned up late “he blew his stack and just put her in the trunk of his car, drove about half a block and then took her out of the trunk and put her in the front seat of his car.” Were you lucky?
