These volunteers would act as tetherers, skiing behind the sit- skiers as they ski down the slope on their sled. The association has 65 skiers and 50 volunteers signed up this year from throughout the province but still requires more volunteers. NV coach nominated NORTH VANCOUVER’S James Miller is one of three finalists nominated for 1989 Coach of the Year in the Amateur Sports Awards by Air Canada. Miller has coached two athletes to silver and bronze medals in wrestling at the 1984 Olympic Games. A founding member of the Bur- naby Mountain Wrestling Club, Miller is the assistant coach of the Simon Fraser University wrestling team as well as the B.C. Wrestling high performance director.
