TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of The Corporation of the City of

§ North Vancouver proposes to construct street improvements, including: brick-lined
) sidewalks, stree’ trees and architectural streetlighting on the 100 Block East 14th Street
| between the Lan. East of Lonsdale Avenue and St. George's Avenue.

1. The estim.ted cost of the work is:
Public Safe. Building (RCMP) Contribution $114,590.00
. Parking Rese-ve Fund 87,000.00
Local Improvement Property Owners’ Share 62,250.00
Local Improvem=nt City’s Share 56,250.00
Total Estimated Cost: $ 320,000.00

. The owners’ portion of the cost of this project shall be an annual charge of
$47.22 per taxable metre for sidewalks and street trees and $5.58 per taxable
metre for streetlighting which shall be specially charged against the parcels

This Bylaw is an amendment Bylaw to the “Local Improvement Bylaw, 1991,
No. 6194".

. Persons desiring to petition against the undertaking of the work must do so
on or before the 18th day of June, 1996. In accordance with the Municipal
act, Council would be prevented from proceeding with the work if more than
50% in number of the owners, representing at least 50% of the assessed value
of the lands involved, sign in opposition to the undertaking. In the case of
joint ownership, both owners must sign, and where two or more persons are
the owners of the property, a majority of them must sign the petition. Where
the property is registered in the name of a limited company, an officer must
sign the petition and show his or her position in the company.
