Volunteer Centre has numerous
requests for a variety of vobin-

Listed below is a small sample of
current volunteer requests,

FLOOR HOCKEY EN-
THUSIASTS. The Special Otym-
pics men's floor hockey team Divi-
sion ‘A‘ is looking for coaches and
a manager. If you have a knowl-
edge of floor hockey do come and
participate. Monday evenings from
9to 10 p.m. North Van location.
STRONG AND ENERGETIC
FITNESS people wanted to assist
with an adaptive fitness class.
Duties include helping out with the
fitness class as well as helping to
drive and assisting people out of
cars. If you have an understanding
of the physically handicapped and
are available from 10:30 to 11:30
a.m. on Monday and/or Wednes-
day morning your help will be
greatly appreciated.

PATIENT AND FRIENDLY per-
son wanted to escort seniors on
outings to museums, malls ete.

Driver and van are prosided
Hours are from 2 tad pom Mon-
days and Wednesdays. Orientation
provided,

SWIMMERS wanted to assist
senior citizens with swimming. Tf
you ate a strony swinimiee aad
have anpathy with the elderly this
position will interest you. Hours
are Thatsday mornings from 9 to
11:30 aan. Orientation provided.
TAIL-CHE INSTRUCTOR needed
for a senior citizens centre. Hf you
know Tai Chi come and share your
training wid this group of inter-
ested and willing to learn people.
A once a week commitment
(afiernoon of your choice) for
three months is required. North
Vancouver location.
ENTHUSIASTIC AND
FRIENDLY ENTERTAINMENT
GROUPS are wanted for after-
noon teas, birthday parties and
special theme days. Come and join
the fun at this senior citizen centre
on Sundays at 2 of 7 p.m. West
Vancouver location.
