reports:

May 12
1. Marine Dr.

RCMP patrol saw a store
secunty officer chasing a well
known male criminal. One of
the officers exited the vehicle
and tackied the suspect. He
Was arrested tae shoplifting.
The male also had ourstand-
ing warrants from Surrey
RCMP and three other theft
charges before the courts at
the time of arrest.

May 23
2. 5360-bik. Indian River
Dr.

A bear was on a porch.
This particular bear he! been
residing in the backyard far
some time and has done
extensive damage to the
house. Conservation officers
had a wap set up to capture
the bear bur have not suc:
ceeded. The bear was becom-
ing used to living close to
people and would not scare
off. The bear was destroyed.

May 30

3. 600-blk. Chesterfield

Suspicious fire in build-
ing’s storage lockers. Fire
department put out the fire
but notified police due to sus-
Picious nature. Apparently
suspects had broken into the
lockers and set the blaze.
Investigation continues.

June 4

4. 100-bik. West 12th

Theft of motorcycle. 1989.
Harley. Davidson’ was stolen
during the night. It is black in
color with gold stripes on gas
tank. B.C. plate C7262. Any
