The Council for The Corporation of the
District of North Vancouver, pursuant to the
provisions of the Municipal Act, hereby gives
notice of its intent to amend the Zoning Bylaw
as described below:

: Proposed Amendment
To delete an existing siting area on the subject
lands.

Purpose
To eliminate a duplication of regulations and
update the Zoning Bylaw which will streamline
: development procedures for the current appli-

Pursuant to-the provisions of Section 890(4) of
‘the Municipal Act, the Council kas waived the

Proposed Amendments

To amend the Zoning Bylaw to.create two néw
Comprehensive Development Zones, 18 (CD18).
and 19 (CD19) and io rezone the subject lands . -
from General Industrial (12) and General
Commercial Zone 3 (C3) to those new zones. |

Purpose

The purpose of the rezoning is to establish specific
land use and development regulations for the sub-
ject properties to enable the Company to develop
its lands in a manner consistent with the current
Maplewood Officiant Community Plan. Bylaw 7023 °
replaces Bylaw 7008 which was abandoned by
Council on May 25, 1998. The new Bylaw reflects
changes which were suggested during the public
input process.
