Gay tr court THE FOLLOWING people appeared in North and West Vancouver courts recently to face various charges: Before Judge Bilt Rodgers in North Vancouver provincial court on Aug. 31: Mason Dean Lee, 26, of New Westminster, was jailed 14 days after he pleaded guilty to possess- ing marijuana on April 9, 1992, in North Vancouver City. The jail sentence is to be served concurrent to another sentence Lee is serving. ooo Pierre Edmond Limoges, 34, of North Vancouver, was fined $350 after he pleaded guilty to being the owner of a motor vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident at St. Georges Avenue and 13th Street on Feb. 21 in North Vancouver City. Kenneth J. Reid, 56, of North Vancouver, was fined $450 after he pleaded guilty to failing to mark his crab fishing gear properly on Sept. 14, 1993, in Burrard Inlet near North Vancouver City. Vancouver, was jailed one day after he pleaded guilty to steal-_ ing a hacksaw blade-belonging to Zellers on June 13 in North Vancouver District. Before Judge Doug Moss in North Vancouver provincial court on Aug. 29: Daniel Harvey Christic, 37, of North Vancouver, was fined $300 after he pleaded guilty to failing to produce written information after being a driver involved in a car accident on Dec. 4, 1993, in North Vancouver District. Before Judge Jerome Paradis in North Vancouver provincial court on Aug. 17; Ronald Gerald Pankratz, 33, of North Vancouver, received three months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to possessing marijuana on June 22 in North Vancouver District. Before Judge J.D. Layton in West Vancouver provincial court on July 11: Christopher R. LeGault, 20, Luke Anthony Gibson, 20, and Joao Silva Freire, 21, all of North Vancouver, each received 12 months’ probation after they plead- ed guilty to committing mischief by damaging a power-track wrench belonging to B.C. Rail on May 21 in West Vancouver. LeGault, Gibson and Freire were also each required to perform 75 hours of community work service. Cyclists are advised that one sidewalk on the bridge will be closed 24 hours per day during this period.
