PAYGMAN ~ Douglas Wentworth, long-

* Sime resident of North Vancouver, pass-

ed away suddenly, but peacefully at
home on January 21, 1995 in his 82nd
year. He was born in Toronty in 1912
and fates moved to the west coast. He
graduated from Kings Naval College in
Kafifax in 1940 as a Sub Lieutenant and
served on the Attantic Coast in com-
mand of a ship in the Anti Submarine
Fleet from 1941-1945. Me. Pangman
tetired as a Lieutenant Commander
R.CNV.RACB.). He spent 20 years with
the Naval Reserve at the H.M.C.S,
Discovery and was a lifetime member of
the Ward Room and Naval Officers’
Association. M¢.: Pangman was one of
the founders of Minor Hockey on the
North Shore. He was a director of the
B.C. Amateur Hockey Association and
past president and honorary life member
of the Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey
Association. He was an ardent curler and
member of the North Shore Winter Club

for many years. Mr. Pangman worked as -

a credit and finance manager at Pacific
GMC until his setirement at age 70. In
his retirement he loved boating, golf,
hockey and other sports. He is survived
by his loving family, wife Margaret,
daughter Susanne, son-in-law (and best
friend) .Lee Hawkins, and grandsons
Shawn and Mark. His loyalty, support

and love of tife will be missed by all. A.

date. No flowers by request. Donations
