Kartofier puppets

MATYHIAS KUCHTA and Hiltrud Yorberg-Beck delighted an audience of 120 last Thursday at
the Lucas Centre with a life-size puppet show. The two are the founders of the German Kar-
tofler Puppet Theatre. They sew their own puppets and perform fairy tales by the Grimm
Brothers and Hans Christian Andersen. For their North Vancouver shew, the former teachers
performed The Four Bremen Musicians. The story revoives around the adventures of a donkey,
eat, dog and rooster who have grown old and are unwanted by their masters. The show was
hosted by the German Norih Shore School.
