New director named

CHUCK BOESEN is the new Executive Director of North Shore
Community Services (NSCS), formerly known as the North
Shore Information and Volunteer Centre. Boesen brings 14
years’ experience in business and non-profit management to
his new position. He has a degree in psychology and business
and recently completed an Advanced Management Non-Profit
Certificate program through Simon Fraser University. Boesen
made a conscious decision to shift his career from private
business to the non-profit field, preferring to direct his energy
toward helping others in the community. He is optimistic
about the opportunities for NSCS to respond and grow with
the changing neeas of the North Shore.
