“If we wilfully accept a blood
transfusion we'd jeopardize our
relationship with God. We'd have
to take steps to get God's
forgiveness." says David.

But he maintains that his
chances of needing one are
minimal. ‘When [ told my doctor
that in the case of blood transfu-
sion I’d have to refuse, he replied
that the chances of my needing

chances for winning the lottery.”’
