Bowen man jailed for theft AN 18-YEAR-OLD Bowen Island man was sentenced Dec. 28 to four months in jail in North Vancouver provincial court. Appearing before Judge R.D. Grandison, Wesley John Spiekermann pleaded guilty to an Aug. 16 theft of a man's brown wallet and contents, and to possession of stolen property on Sept. 9 when he was found to have a stolen telephone receiver. Library approaches lending record THE WEST Vancouver Memorial Library is on track this year to break its 1988 record of books lent out to residents. Archer, who has been assistant secretary-treasurer of the Bulkley Valley School District and has held several senior accounting positions in industry, holds the designations of certified general accountant (CGA) and professional ad- ministrator (P.Adm.).
