THE WEST VAN Otters swim
club won two individual and three
relay gold medals at the B.C.
Junior Swimming Championships
held at Kelowna Feb. 6 to 8.

Steven Marshall, swimming in
the 10 and under boys’ category,
won the 50-metre butterfly junior
championship with a time of 44.05
seconds.

Kelly Booth, meanwhile, took
the 200-metre freestyle junior
championships in the 1] and 12
girls’ category, with a winning time
of 2:33.74,

The Otters’ boys 10 and under
relay team took first place in the 4

eighth for the 100 Breast.

10 & Under Girls:
Kirsten Taberner — silver medal for second
in the 50 Back, bronze medal for third in the
50 Breast and bronze medal for the 100 Free

Sara Stephenson — bronze medal for third in
the 200 Free, seventh in the 50 Free
