fabrics Morry Wilson uses to
interpret his finely. tailored

Europe: hand woven Irish

Morry stands at the helm
of Wilson Brothers
Manufacturing Company
Limited, headquartered in

Toronto, running the
business founded by his
father, Simon, who im-

migrated to Canada in 1904.

During the 1920s, Simon
Wilson manufactured.
dresses and coats on Spadina
Avenue. After leaving
school, Morry joimed his
father and two brothers in
the family-run business.

In 1940, Morry left for
California, where he spent a
year in the coat business
with his brother, followed by
a stint in the air force upon
his return to Toronto.

When Simon Wilson
retired in 1945, Morry and
his two brothers took over
his company as three equal
partners. Following the
retirement of his brothers in
1972, Morry became solely
responsible for
