The area manager's position was created as a result of the amalgamation of the Fraser Valley and Metro divisions of Electrical Operations to form the new Lower Mainland Division. Coomes, 57, has served as ‘North Vancouver district manager for the past three years. As area manager, Coomes says his objective is~ to provide the best possible electrical service to the communities in his area, which include the North Shore, Squamish, Powell River and Sunshine Coast communities.
