THE PLAIN Truth magazine is
marking 30 years of its operations
_in Canada in its February issue.

The February issue will not just
feature the Vancouver operation;
it will take a frank look at a sub-
ject’ Canadians can relate. to more
and more: the evidence of
racism in our society.

gone to experience ‘‘Nazareth, the
Way of Life’’ which of course is
inspired by the family life the
Lord Jesus enjoyed with Mary
and Joseph as He came to
manhood, and the exercise of His
public ministry which brought us
our salvation.

After six years of experiencing
the joys and struggles of the fami-
lies that came to Nazareth as well
as their own ongoing journey in
holiness as a family of 10, Don
and Posie McPhee, the founders
(1982) of Nazareth Center, along
with the associate families were
inspired to produce a_ six-part
video series based on the experi-
ences of these families and on the
teachings of the Church.

The result was ‘Restoring our
family to Christ,’’ a video series
that explores in depth the many
challenges of Catholic family life
today.

This series will be presented
with discussion following, over
three evenings, Feb. 8, 15 and 22
at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity
Church Hall, 2725 Lonsdale Ave.,
North Vancouver.

This series is aimed at en-
cOuraging Catholic family
spirituality and spousal relation-
ships and is of special interest to
parents of young children, pre-
teens and early teens; however, all
parents are welcome. Babysitting
will be provided, free of charge.
