Art exhibit
comes to Whistler

A UNIQUE art show featuring the
work of internationally acclaimed
artists Aldo Luongo and Eyvind
Earle opens tomorrow at Whistler
Vilage and runs until March 18.

The special four-day exhibit will
feature a variety of original
seriographs and lithographs by the
artists.

Luongo, 48, is known for his
contemporary impressionist pieces
that reflect the world in which he
lives. The Hawk, a twinkling-eyed,
virile old man, appears as both the

sole subject and as one of a group
in many of Luongo’s works.

Earle is known for his original
landscapes, characterized by their
simplicity and directness of style.
He created the styling, background
and colors for the film Sleeping
Beauty and won an Academy
Award for his work with Disney
and an Emmy Award for the T.V.
special The Story of Christmas,

The show begins at 7 p.m.,
March 15, in the Cheekamus
Room of the Delta Mountain Inn.
