Senior soccer season with a 4-2.loss
to Vancouver" s Ismaili Ciub.

fielder Per Ahinas evened the score
at 2-2 but Kokanee couldn’t hang
ou.

Ismaili: goals came from Hanif
Vellani, :Eznur Ladha and Amina
Schivjt ‘with Kokance adding a goal
to help the visitors’ cause.

Flames win their
first two games

Flames got off to a winning start
in their first two games of West
Coast Junior Hockey League ex-
hibition play, shutting out the
Buckeroos 3-0 on Sept. 13 in Port
Coquitlam and then downing the
Bernaby Bluekawks 10-7 at home

Nielsen accounted for all three
goals. Another rookie, Darryl
Reddy, shared goaltending

In the game against the
Bluchawks, the Flames were trail-
ing 2-1 after the first period but
then outscored the Biuehawks four
goals to two in the second and five
goals to three in the third for the
10-7 victory.

Scoring for the Flames were
Scott Gordon, Kevin Bakr and
Andrew Merilees with two each,
and newcomers Brian Trkia, Jason
Calla, Rob Towrnier and Andrew
Wilson adding singles. Cory Waite
and Sten Kearlica shared the
goaltending as the Fiames outshot
the Bluechawks 42-40.
