The Accord Coupe shares inte-
rior design with the 4-Door Sedan
and Hatchback. When planning
the Accord interior, Honda
engineers set out to maximize pas-
senger and cargo room by
minimizing space intrusion from
the engine, transmission and
suspension.

Also, outward vision was an
important ergonomic and safety
consideration. It’s served by the
low hood and cowl, plus roof
pillars made slim —_ without
sacrificing strength — so that all
glass areas are as large as possible.
Blind spots thus are minimized.

The Coupe continues to ex-
emplify Honda’s leadership in
ergonomics with controls that are
logically placed, precise in action
and easy to understand and
operate. The Coupe offers the
convenience of remote releases for
fuel filler door and trunk.

niently located on the steering
wheel. Power features include
power windows and remote dual
power outside mirrors.

Coupe front seats are comfor-
table and supportive. All models
have full front backrest recline and
heignt-adjustable head restraints.

The rich seat fabrics are heat
bonded to the inner foam cushions
for a neat appearance, durability
and resistance to wrinkles.
