SIMON Fraser University has
selected a former coach of the
West Vancouver Ollers Swim Club
to head the university’s women’s
varsity swim team,

Graham Schnare, 27, was ap-
pointed in the first week of
September.

Prior to the SFU appointment,
the West Vancouver resident
couched the Otters for five yeurs
and was the program director and
coach of the Juan de Fuca Cohos.

SFU Director of Athletics and
Recreation Lorne Davies described
Schnare as ‘tan ambitious and tal-

ented coach and we feel he has the
determination to return the Clan to
Our past prominence as one of the
finest swimming programs in
North America."

The SFU swim team has won 13
national championships in ity 20-
year history.
