FORTY HIGH SCHOOL

with their host students from
Sentinel Secondary School.

A few months ago the 40
grade ten Sentinel students
visited Ste Foy, and tried ‘'as
much as possible’’ said stu-
dent Patrick Lui, to speak
French.

cian can.’”’

She said that some real
friendships have developed as
a result of the exchange, ‘‘as
well as the language,
literature and geography of
each province coming alive.”’

This is the fourth year Sen-
tinel has had an exchange
with the class of Ste Foy high
school teacher Jacqueline
Gousse.

While in West Vancouver,
the Quebec students walked
to Sentinel! from their billets,
then during their ten-day stay
toured Vancouver, Victoria,
Westminster Abbey, Fort
Langley and other places of
interest.
