BSS Sa NIGHT TRAIN In between classes By LOIS LIGHT THIS IS an in-between time for night schools: classes win- ding down, a momentary feeling of loss that they’re over, yet a little too early to think of the new season ahead. It's not too early, however, to remind you that giving a course for Christmas 1s one of the easiest ways to spread your Christmas cheer, and 1s, as they say, the ‘‘gift that keeps on giving.’”’ Think right now about those in your cir cle who would merit such a gift from you. Especially for those who have everything, who shudder at the idea of more things to contend with after the festivities are Over, a series of night school classes, or maybe even one of the mini-courses, or an all-day workshop, would be just the very thing. There aren’t a lot of details about what’s coming up, since the new brochure is not completed, but we can tell you some dates to ring on your new calendars. Classes begin the week of January 16. There will be some nifty Rew one-day workshops, of which you'll hear details shortly, but we can tell you the dates — January 28, at Carson Graham, February 18, at West Vancouver High, and March 17, at Carson Graham A couple of tantahzing titles to whet your cduca- tional appetites there'll be a morning Charm School for those who are interested in a cosmetics career, or just want to improve their own image. The sessions will run from 9:30 to 11:30, so watch for this one, if the subject and time are of interest to you. A Motivation Workshop will run for eight weeks, Wednesdays and Fridays, titled Go For it, i will con- centrate on discovering your strengths and = motivations and helping you get yourself in gear in order to get the very best out of your days. If getting your act together 1s one of the things you are hav- ing a struggle with, why not make attendance at this class a priority for January? Call North Shore Night Schools at 985-8741.
