allowance is 18 metres. — and

20 metres.

I went out and mea-
sured the road, and
found that Highland has
8.0 metres and Burnside
8.3 metres.

This means that there
is a lor of wasted space
that is full of trees and
bushes.

Many homeowners
are using this space as
their own property.

There is a. similar
problem on Chartwell
Drive.

Not only, .are the
roads steep and winding,
people often drive too
fast for the road condi- :
tions. .

Police are doing a :
good job watching for
speeders in school zones,
but on other streets
speeders are speeding
freely, so the police need
to be checking -these
streets too.
