latest is not a Cosby
episode..

Alfre Woodard plays the long-
suffering mother and wife who

dishes out as much abuse as she

ets from her unruly brood of
our sons and one daughter, “I'll
knock your teeth inte tomorrow,”
she yells at her buck-toothed son.
So where’s Dad (Delroy Linco)
when all this is going on? He's
too busy composing his “pure
music” or out trying to get a gig.
Actually, he’s just a big old kid
himself, buying his children’s
affection with junk food. (Candy,
he remembers; the hydro bill he
forgets.)

But something is going on in
that rambunctious neighborhood
to give the young daughter Troy
(Zelda Harris) nightmares (maybe
it’s the ‘70s fashions or singing
along with The Partridge Family).

mer and that’s where directar
Spike Lee really indulges himself.

Gardnner decided to pursue a
teaching career because she says
it is a process where she can
offer her skills and knowledge in
balance with what she learns
from her students.

With a degree in Fine Arts,

Gardnner’s work is an eclectic “

mix of photography, lithography,
sculpture, pottery and painting.

Gardnner enjoys teaching,
especially since memories of her |
own days as a student are still
fresh in her mind.
