Jamie Graham recently transferred to NB detachment WEST VANCOUVER has one of the best municipal police departments in B.C., according to the newest member of the North Vancouver RCMP detachment. Insp. Jamie Graham was recently transferred to the North Vancouver RCMP to act as the second-in-command of the detachment. Before joining the North Van- couver RCMP, Graham worked for two years with the B.C. Police Commission. While there, Graham, 45, was one of three senior police officers to audit and inspect B.C.’s 12 municipal police . forces, including West Vancouver. “They have a first-rate opera- tion,’? Graham said of the West Vancouver Police. Department. ‘*They are well managed.”’ The 25-year veteran’ of the -RCMP ficer-in-charge’ of the daily operations: of .the North Van- * couver detachment. The . detach- ment’s four staff sergeants are accountable to him and Graham also oversees the operations of the detachment’s special projects unit and community policing section.
