Lynn Valley, a community with a distinct personality and heritage, has its own shopping area located at the crossing of Lynn Valley Road and Mountain Highway. Renovated in 1984, Lynn Valley Centre houses more than 60 retail shops, a food fair, restaurants and a three-level parkade. In May, the mall hosts Lynn Valley Days, a tribute to the area’s pioneers. Once considered remote and separate outposts of the North Shore, the Seymour and Deep Cove areas have grown into pro- revitalization projects ever altemp- ted. When completed, the renova- tion work will take in Marine Drive from 13th to 18th Streets, as well as parts of Bellevue Avenue and Clyde Avenue. Entranceways to the Ambleside business area will be denoted at 18th Street and at 13th Street, which is graced on the southwest corner by another West Vancouver heritage piece.
