rinse food scraps directly from the
dishes down the drain.

After a meal, dishes. can be
placed by the sink with food scraps
still-on them. As you rinse them
for the dishwasher or for hand-
washing, the scraps flow down into
the disposer and flush ‘out “the
drain.

A food waste disposer is simply —
a motor-driven grinder installed
under the sink. The drain that
opens into the grinder is part of [|
the- disposer and replaces your -
present sink opening.
