Sea-going adventures told

TWO NORTH Shore couples will
be recounting their ocean-going
adventures as part of # series of
Vancouver Maritime Museum lec-
lures that starts on Jan. 10.

Running on Sundays and
Thursdays, the series focuses on
sailors’ cxperiences around the

world — from Central America to
Scandinavia and the South Pacific.

Robin and Jean Thornton, of
North Vancouver, will on Jan. 21
tell of their 20,000-mile trip in
their homemade boat when they
sailed across the Pacific.
