THE CAPILANO fashion stu-
dents from the retail management
department will be holding a fash-
ion show Sunday, May 10 at 8
p.m, at the Centennial Theatre.

Hotel Tuesday, May 12 at noon.

sored by B.C. Woman to Woman
magazine, will be held Sunday,

never lacking in refined detail.

For the day look for plain or
tweed wool suits with slightly
elongated jackets which brush the
hips, straight-cut dresses with
detail on the shoulder, structured
three-quarter length coats in green
leather or velvet-trimmed wool,
short, two-colored jackets, to keep
the rain out, roomy trenchcoats in
navy silk or cotton gabardine.

For dinners and cocktails, Ric-
ci’s collection includes a trapeze-
shaped velvet dress with a ruffled
or pleated taffeta petticoat in the
same or a contrasting color; a
jacket and blouse outfit in bright
green silk and wool with a violet
velvet skirt.

Ricci has also designed a
“bulle’ skirt trimmed with black
taffeta bows with multicolored
dots, and ‘‘Lewis Caroll’’ dresses
in turquoise taffeta over a black

petticoat and frilled pleated sleeves
also in black.
