Choir sings to NV School Board DRESSED IN’ BOBBY socks, pony tails, red bow ties and white shirts, the girls and boys of the Braemar Elementary School choir showed the North Vancouver ‘School Board at Tuesday night's meeting why they have won wide acclaim in recent years. The 70-member choir walked in- to the board chambers and lined up along the portable stands with straight faces, but teft the room hopping, giggling and smiling after the board and a small audience received them enthusiastically. The local choir performed dur- ing the Olympic torch ceremony in. North Vancouver in January, and in 1986 ICBC asked part of the choir to produce a record on seat-belt safety for schools across British Columbia. Tuesday night's performance charmed the board with the choir's clear sound and enthusiastic con- centration during the three numbers it performed.
