Mainland’s train clubs displaying
and demonstrating their models.

North Vancouver-based BC
Rail will also be showing one of
its models, as will the B.C. Socie-
ty of Model Engineers, which will
have a steam locomotive pull up
for the weekend.

Special exhibit focuses
on train transportation

Briefcase’’ will be opened to
reveal his display of an electric
train running through an intricate-
ly detailed small) town and
locomotion fans will hear the lat-
est word on model trains.

Antique buses from B.C. Tran-
sit will be on display, as well as a
video presentation of Vancouver
transportation in the 1930s.

In addition, a historical display
will be provided by the Canadian
Railroad Historical Society, and
artist Max Jacquiard will show his
paintings of trains.

Making Tracks is free with reg-
ular admission to Science World.
