Last Thursday, Chris truly en- joyed a night to remember at his retirement party at the Timber Club in the Hotel Van. All the top people in the lumber and PR business were there, like Dor Saunders, Keith Bennett, Bill Moore, Frank Walden, Thomas R. Butler, Kathie Taylor, Jean Cormier, Betty O’Keefe, Don LeBlanc, Allan Sinclair, Jim MacKeachie, and John Maunsell, among others. There were witty speeches and tributes and timber tycoon Bill Moore delivered an impressive poem to Chris’ talents and charm. As Bill said, ‘Chris, you are truly loved!"’ It was also an important time for Chris’ friend, the recently retired veteran PR man, Frank Walden. Frank was honored by the B.C.
