Plant clinics scheduled

MASTER GARDENERS will conduct plant clinics
daily at the Festival of Flowers and Gardens April 9
and 1 atthe B.C. Enterprise Centre on the Expo site.

Although the training for this. Master Gardeners
program was. free, graduates pay for it by volun-
tecring 48 hours of their Gime during the growing
season to provide advice for home gardeners at clinics
throughout the Lower Mainland,

Several of the experienced gardeners who completed
this special propram will attend the show to answer
questions about plant diseases and insect problems.

Show visitors are invited to bring “samples of
discased or problem plants to show for diagnosis.
