The reason? Long time resident Karen Hardie says she, and her mother, Isabelle Craddock, do not want to see the money for the Halli go to taxes. It all started when the two women read in the newspa- per that the Hall was to be put up for sale because it was three years behind in its taxes — about $3,900. In ef- forts to try and save the Hall, they decided to put up $1,200, or one year’s worth By JOANNE MacDONALD Technically, any property with three years’ worth of taxes must be put on the market. But despite the one year’s grace, Hardie and Craddock have acted further on the Hall’s fate by approaching the legal owner of the Hall, the Horseshoe Bay Com- munity Association.
