Soccer jamboree heralded as success North and West Vancouver boys participated in the first ever Dairyland Sportmanship Soccer Jamboree held recently at Strathcona Park in Vancouver. A total of over 250 participants from all over the lower mainland took part in the two day event in which teams were formed randomly and no team had more than three or four players from one club. The jamboree was design- ed for boys playing -on Division 5 under 13 year old community recreation teams. The event was billed as concentrating on the values of sportsmanship, fellowship and participation rather than as ai highly competitive tournament. Participants to the jam- boree had been selected beforehand on the basis of their sportsmanship qualities on and off the field. The chairman of the B.C.
