Chief Lifton was lining up a
certain neighbourhood prepara-
tory to swooping down. when he
happened to pass a pig pen.
Taking stock of the little animal,
waose popularity has grown, he
was very surprised to see it root
up a suspicious-looking bottle.
Not being very familiar with the
peculiar shape of this particular
bottle, he rescued it from pig-
’ gie’s nose bunts. A close exami-
nation reveaied the astonishing
fact that it. contained whisky.
The bottle will hereafter occupy
