SAS \ \ \ Eastern Canada reads Collins with interest Dear Editor: I just wanted to drop you a few lines about your columnist Doug Collins, and to let you know he is much loved and enjoyed by my friends in Ontario and eastern Canada, I have a friend who sends me three or four of his columns at a time as they come out, and then } proceed to Xerox several copies of them and maiJ them out to many interested friends in Toronto, southern Ontario, Fredericton, Regina, and cne or two different places in Alberia. They rely on me for these maii- ings as we don’t get your paper in other parts of Canada as easily as the people do in Vancouver. We feel Mr. Collins hits the mark on so many issues and we are in total agreement with what he says. We only wish there were dozens more like him and Canada wouldn't be in the mess today that it is. He is a courageous man and it is not easy to go against the tide these days and when one does, he is surely vilified and ridiculed. We understand that Mr. Collins had had some of this. I hope you will always be brave enough to keep him as a colum- nist and again I want to assure you that he is much admired and read with great interest in eastern Canada. If I had done that to a rabbit, the Humane Society could proba- bly convict me of cruelty to animals. Please ... ing. tell me I am dream- Lori Ostier West Vancouver N.
