West Van
celebrates

OVER 60 entries will participate in West Vancouver's
Community Days parade Saturday, June } which leaves
Ambleside Park at 11 a.m..and proceeds along Marine
Drive to the Recreation Centre. Merchants will be decora-
ting the fronts of their stores to add a festive air. The day
will begin at 8 a.m. for early birds with a fun run at John
Lawson Park and the Rotary Club will be serving a pan-
cake breakfast at 9 a.m. in the Safeway parking lot at
18th and Marine. Traditional maypole dancing, seen
above, will be performed at the Rec Centre by local stu-
dents. Don’t miss the fun and entertainment.
