qualify on Friday, although -

only 40 were allowed on the

final grid. ;
It was a weekend of
crashes; with several cars

receiving substantial damage
but fortunately, none of the
drivers were injured.

Andretti was blocked while
attempting to lap a slower
car, spun and hit the guard
rail.

This left the final laps to
be fought between Clifford,

unceremoniously blocked in
his efforts and pushed
completely off the track
onto the grass. He was able
