Nearly 200 eople atrended and $65,000 was raised through sponsoring and ticker purchases. A silent auction featuring sports memora- bilia such as basketball shoes belonging to Grizzlies star Bryant “Big Country” Reeves was also held. The money raised will pro- vide new uniforms for the team and will help send them ta the World Cup qualifying event in Barbados next March, Team members, decked out in their brand new striking red jacket mingled with film industzy people and other guests who turned out to show their support tor the team.
