They have no contractual obligations, no down pay- ment, no overhead, no maintenance or gardening with which to contend. But when the real owners decide to do some creative selling — legally put some authority, responsibility and “pride of ownership” in the hands of the tenant — how can I, as a tenant, say “Stop! You need to look after me!" For heaven's sake, why? [ live just down the street and consider my stay an honor and each day a gift. In no way could my meagre rent (all things being relative) pay for the million-dollar view and spic-and-span upkeep of this spot! I can only lasts | enters be grateful.
